		<description>I agree!  We should do what we as a community wish to do and use Congressional intransigence to publicize the denial of our civil rights.  And in addition to these two areas, there are others.  DC DOT wants to bring streetcars into the city, and there is a grassroots Streetcar Alliance formed to promote it.  One major obstacle: Congress&#039; objections to &quot;unsightly&quot; overhead wires.  Of course, they don&#039;t mind the unhealthy emissions spewing out of cars!  

And don&#039;t forget school vouchers, which were thrust down our throats, although a clear majority of DC residents are against them (otherwise the Mayor &amp; City Council would have felt the heat a long time ago).</description>
